TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (September 30, 2017) – Tallahassee Community College’s softball team will open its fall schedule on Saturday with a home date against the Jacksonville-based Storm Lusk.
First pitch is slated for 1 p.m. at the TCC Softball Complex.
Patti Townsend, the longest-tenured head coach in the Panhandle Conference, is back for her 15th season with the Eagles, along with five returning sophomores – shortstop Samantha Malik, centerfielder Brandie Callaway, second baseman Kacie Dobyanski and pitchers Callie Paine and Jewliana Castillo.
Tallahassee has eight dates on the fall slate, highlighted by a home-and-home doubleheader with Florida A&M University. The teams will play at the Lady Rattler Softball Complex on Wednesday, October 18 – the lone road date on the fall schedule – then close “fall ball” on the TCC campus Thursday, November 2.
Other teams on the fall schedule include Panhandle Heat (October 4), First Coast Fire (October 7), Canada Futures-2017 (October 10), Powermill (October 11) and the CF Lady Hawks (October 28).
