TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (September 16, 2017) – Tallahassee Community College's men's cross country team was back on the trail Saturday morning at the annual Prefontaine Forest Run 5K.

The event, held just west of the TCC campus at Silver Lake, featured a total of 62 runners in the co-ed community race.

Although the race didn't result in any PRs, all five Tallahassee runners placed inside the top 13 in a final tune-up before next weekend's Mountain Dew Invitational at the University of Florida.

For the third straight race, Gatlin Nennstiel paced the Eagles, running a 19:24 to place second overall and lead a 2-3-4 finish for Tallahassee.

Joshua Guest crossed the finish line in 19:38 to finish third while Travis Parks ran a 20:20 and finished fourth.

Tunde Azikwe (22:39) and Kelvin Brown (22:45) finished 12th and 13th, respectively.
